tablets into a glass of water and immerse the jewellery for two minutes

Drains
Clear the sink
drain by dropping three Alka-Seltzer tablets down the drain followed by a
cup of white vinegar and wait a few minutes. Run the hot
water.

Blood Stains on Clothes
For stubborn
blood stains, apply a paste of meat-tenderizing crystals and cold water.
Leave it for about an hour and rinse in cool water.

No-Fade Jeans
Turn
the jeans inside out and wash in the coolest water possible; dry on lowest
heat. Dry-cleaning jeans once every five to six washings will slow
down the fading process.

Boil some water
with a few ounces of pearl barley. Let it cool overnight and then clean as
usual.

Pet ‘Accidents’!
To Clean pet
urine from the carpet, blot up what you can with paper towels. Mix one teaspoon
mild dish-washing detergent in one cup warm water. Dip a clean towel in the
liquid and, working from outside in, dab at stain. Do not over wet. Rinse
with fresh water and blot dry. Next, add one-third cup white vinegar with
two-thirds cup water and dab on stain. Rinse with water; blot until dry.
After 24-36 hours, sprinkle entire carpet with baking soda or rug deodorizer
and vacum.

Quick-Clean Microwave
Microwave a
cup of water for two minutes. The steam will make the microwave easy to wipe
cleam.

A Child’s Glass
Put elastic
bands around your child’s glass. This way it will be less likely to slip
out of his hand and spill.

Attatch a stick-on
air freshener to one of the blades on you ceiling fan. Turn the fan on

Mix the yolk
of an egg with a little warm water..rub on the stain with a sponge. For stubborn
stains, add a few drops of alcohol to the egg and water.
