Love Bundles is a non-profit, volunteer organization which donates
packages of essential baby items to new mothers.

In 1997, Karen Dombroskie gathered together some newborn baby items
for a 14-year old pregnant girl who did not have any family to help her.
Inspired by the the girl's appreciation, Karen approached her friend Elaine

Kauffeldt, to gather package for all the needy mothers in the area.
Thus, Love Bundles was born!

Love Bundles is a non-profit group. With the help of the
Salvation Army and over 100 volunteers Love Bundles is growing.
Volunteers help in many ways, some knit baby outfits or afghans,
some sew bibs and toys, while others are happier donating cash.

Each Bundle contains from 10 to 15 articles, at least 3 of which
are homemade. Other items included are such things as Q-Tips,
diapers, bottles, teething rings, baby powder, baby shampoo, face
cloths and rattles. Helpful and informative pamphlets are also included.

Pampers, Similac, Gerber, Heinz, Kodak, Pattons are just a few of
the many companies who have helped out. Renfrew businesses have
also been involved; Walmart, Village Pharmacy, Carlton Cards, Renfrew
Printing, Aloette and Your Independent Grocer to name a few.

Used toys and clothing in good condition are also donated to the
Love Bundle donation list.

Love Bundles donates a package to each of the babies born at the
Renfrew Victoria Hospital, as well as donating to any new mother
who would appreciate the gift.

Would you like to help ?

Love Bundles is always looking for more volunteers!
Any handmade items will be welcomed with open arms. Layette sets,
mitts, booties, hats, blankets, bibs, toys ... anything that would be
suitable for a newborn.

Also, any used toys or baby clothing that is in good condition
would be greatly appreciated.
